Services
What's included in a general service?
Cleaning of air filters, front covers, coils, blower wheel and drain tray. We check drainage flow and inspect for visible faults. Takes about 30–45 min per unit.
Chemical wash vs chemical overhaul — what's the difference?
Chemical wash is done in-place — chemicals applied without dismantling the unit. Chemical overhaul means the full indoor unit is removed from the wall, every part taken apart, cleaned individually and reassembled. Overhaul is needed only when washing alone can't fix the problem.
Do you service all aircon brands?
Yes — Daikin, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, LG, Samsung, Fujitsu, Toshiba, Midea and others. For Cassette and ceiling-mounted units, please mention when booking as extra time may be needed.
How long does each service take?
General: ~30 min/unit. FoamJet: ~40 min/unit. Chemical wash: ~45 min/unit. Chemical overhaul: ~60–90 min/unit.
Do I need to be home during the service?
Yes. An adult must be present for the full duration to provide access and sign off on the job. We cannot service units if no one is home.
Pricing & Payment
Are there hidden charges?
None. All prices include GST and transport. If additional work is needed, the technician quotes you before proceeding. You are never charged for work you didn't agree to.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, PayNow and bank transfer. Payment is due on the day of service. Annual contracts are paid upfront to lock in pricing.
Why is the repair diagnostic $60?
It covers the technician's time and transport to diagnose the issue. If you proceed with the repair, the $60 is waived — you only pay the repair cost. If you decline, the $60 stands.
Bookings
How quickly can I get an appointment?
Same-day or next-day slots available subject to availability. Book by 12pm for a same-day afternoon slot. Weekend slots fill fast — book at least 2 days ahead.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before at no charge. Within 24 hours or no-show = $20 admin fee. Annual contract holders get one free reschedule per year.
What areas do you serve?
Singapore island-wide — all HDB, condo and landed properties. Commercial units available on request.
After Service
Is there a service guarantee?
Yes — 30-day guarantee on every job. Same issue recurs within 30 days, we return at no charge. Annual contract holders get priority re-service within 48 hours.
Aircon still not cold after servicing — what do I do?
Contact us within 30 days and we'll investigate at no cost. Common causes are low refrigerant gas or a faulty component — both covered under our follow-up visit policy.
How often should I service my aircon in Singapore?
Every 3 months is ideal given Singapore's heat and humidity. Minimum twice a year. Annual chemical wash once a year is recommended to prevent mould and maintain air quality.

  • Bookings confirmed only upon WhatsApp or email confirmation from Chillops.
  • We may reschedule due to technician unavailability — you will be notified at least 2 hours before.
  • Slots are not guaranteed until confirmed.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancel or reschedule 24+ hours before — no charge.
  • Within 24 hours or no-show — $20 admin fee applies.
  • Annual contract holders: one free reschedule per year.

3. Service Guarantee

  • 30-day guarantee on all jobs. Same issue recurs — we return at no charge.
  • Does not cover new faults unrelated to the original service or third-party interference.
  • Annual contract holders: priority re-service within 48 hours.

4. Pricing & Payments

  • All prices include GST and transport unless stated otherwise.
  • Additional charges quoted and confirmed by customer before proceeding.
  • Payment due on day of service. Annual contracts paid upfront.

5. Repairs & Diagnostics

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • Adult must be present for full service duration.
  • Clear access to indoor and outdoor units must be provided.
  • We are not liable for pre-existing damage discovered during servicing.

7. Annual Contracts

  • Valid 12 months from date of first service.
  • Non-transferable and non-refundable after first service has been rendered.
  • Unused sessions do not carry over beyond 12 months.

8. Liability

  • Liability limited to cost of service rendered.
  • We carry public liability insurance for damage caused directly by our technicians.
